Deby Whitfield

Deby is an experienced music teacher and long-time performing artist of over 25 years, qualified to teach beginner to diploma level instruments to children, teens, adults and seniors.

She regularly coaches students towards both theory and practical examinations, and can enter students for exams with ABRSM, Trinity and MTB music exam boards.

Deby teaches piano and theory, all woodwind instruments and all value brass instruments at both schools and privately in her studio, and at Butterflies School of Dance and Performance Arts at Thirsk.

Deby also is the founding member, orchestral manager and principal flautist of Thirsk Sinfonia Orchestra.
